How did you get started teaching?
After working in sales and then as a grass roots community coordinator for the USTA, I discovered my true passion is to connect with others and help them reach their goals.
What types of students have you worked with?
Work with students as young as 3 and as old as 93 and all the ages in between. Enjoy all levels of player: from total beginner to high performance competitive champions.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I totally enjoyed 5 day vacation with my father to Savannah Georgia. Great Bonding!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Discuss your goals. People want different things from their tennis. Some are looking for a social, healthy outlet; others may be training for high school or collegiate play. Some may be returning to the game after a long absence. Each student comes to the court with different skills, athleticism and fitness and with different goals. I do not force one cookie cutter approach on all of my students. Rather I work with each to bring out the best of what they have, given the time and energy they can invest, and help them to set and reach their goals.
