My teaching philosophy is built around two phrases from my late mentor, Lindsey Christiansen: "A good voice teacher teaches you how to practice." "Good singing is simple and easy, learning to make it so is the hard part." My goal as a voice teacher is to give my students the vocal and musical tools they need to tell their own stories through singing. Timothy McNair, Bass, is the former Eckstein Scholar of Music at Northwestern University Bienen School of Music where he held the most coveted merit full tuition scholarship. Timothy obtained his M.Mus in Voice Performance and Opera Literature at Northwestern University Bienen School of Music in 2014. Before that, Timothy McNair completed his B.
