Access Talent is aimes at helping actors get parts and achieve their dreams in the entertainment industry. It's not easy to get that first paying role. I've been acting for 43 years and directing for 30. I worked as a professional actor in Chicago, Ill and NY before coming to Charleston, SC where I obtained my BA in theatre at College of Charleston in 1989. I owned and operated Charleton Reperatory Theatre from 1990-1993 and have been acting and directing in the charleston area until the present. I worked on a number of films and I'm a member of the Screen Actors Guild. I also a degree in broadcating and owned a professional video production business from 2000-2010. I 'm also a film maker and like to work on independent film projects.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Basic $25.00 an hour for private lessons, however if working on improv or groups classes, I offer group discount prices.
How did you get started teaching?
I first started teaching and directing theater at a summer camp while working as an actor during the fall and winter 1980-1981.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students Age 11 to adult (50's)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I worked with a boy who was auditioning for numerous parts in front of different NY agents.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they have some type of credentials (a college degree in acting or at least years of experience as an actor).
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What areas of their acting skill do they want to work on. For example, do they want to work on enunciation (speech clarity), projection (voice), Musical training (singing for the stage), or do they want to work on acting in front of the camera and audtioning for film/TV roles.
