I am an experienced international singer and teacher, currently teaching at the University of South Carolina, Summer Arts with Juilliard (Switzerland), and the Cortona Sessions for New Music (Italy). I customize my teaching to suit each student's unique needs and focus on how interpretation, musicality, and technique can inform a total performer/singer.

Rachel has been my favorite voice teacher out of the few Ive had. While Ive never had a bad experience with a teacher, from the very beginning her methods were immediately more effective than any other lessons I had. I have found her teaching to be incredibly encouraging and motivating, as she finds my strengths and uses those to grow and enhance my areas of weakness. Everything from warm-ups to repertoire selection is enjoyable and challenging at the same time, and has been very beneficial in my growth as a singer.

First I enjoy listening to sing a piece with which you are familiar so I can evaluate you in your comfort zone. Then we can discuss your strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Then - let's sing!
