What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students come from a variety of different dance backgrounds and sometimes no dance background at all. It is never too late to start dancing for the first time or to pick it back up after years of going without dancing.
I like to get to know where my new students are coming from and what are the immediate and long term goals with dance. Do you want to start social dancing? Do you want to compete? Do you want to perform? Do you want to try something new for the fun of it? Are you trying to dance for a special occasion?
The answers to those questions will help me tailor the right program for you. From there we will work on learning moves, connection, creativity, and style so that you can shine and have fun on the dance floor!
