Hey there! I’m Braxton Johnson — a professional touring drummer based in Nashville. I'm currently playing and touring with Highway 94, and I’ve had the privilege of playing with artists like Carver Lewis, Tim Gates, and even Merrill Osmond of The Osmonds.

I’ve studied with some of the best in the business, including Jim Riley (Rascal Flatts), Rich Redmond (Jason Aldean), Jake Sommers ( Luke Combs), and Joel Stevenette ( Jo Dee Messina), and now I bring that same energy, professionalism, and precision to teaching.

Working with me is hands-on, encouraging, and totally customized to your goals — whether you're picking up sticks for the first time or prepping for pro-level gigs. We’ll dive into technique, groove, feel, dynamics, and most importantly — how to sound great in real-world music situations.

I teach from both a performer’s mindset and a drummer’s heart, and I’ll push you to be your best while keeping things fun and focused. I understand the demands of the stage, the studio, and even the tour bus — and I’ll help you build the skills to thrive in all three.
