About
Subculture Royalty Dance Company began as the Dance Company of Yo! Academy of Visual & Performing Arts in Memphis, TN. Upon the school’s closing in the fall of 2007, “SubRoy” set out to become Memphis’ premier commercial hip hop dance company.
In March of 2012, SubRoy Studios opened its doors and has since been the consistent training grounds for Subculture Royalty Dance Company, SubRoy Empire All Stars & The Memphis Grizzlies Entertainment Dance Teams.
SubRoy Students & Alum have toured the world with renowned musical artists, appeared in reputable commercials, movies, and stage productions. SubRoy is Memphis’ undeniable commercial training grounds. Come train with the absolute best!!! Professional Developmet focused.
