About
I’m a tennis coach with over 10 years of teaching experience. I am a PTR Certified Tennis Professional as well as a former nationally ranked junior player. I played college tennis in Tennessee for 4 years, where I graduated with a bachelors degree. I create lesson plans for all my students based on their abilities and what they would like to accomplish in their tennis career. I make sure that all of my lessons are fun and active, so that my students are able to enjoy the lessons and improve their skills.
I enjoy seen my students improve their tennis with the guidance that I give them. I really enjoy seen people get excited about doing a physical activity that is fun and effective.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at a very young age, because I wanted to improve younger players, as I could relate to what they were feeling more easily. Afterwards, I realized that teaching tennis made me really happy, because I could see how my guidance could improve someone so much.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and skills levels. From kids to adults.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently had to teach a 30 year old student who had never touch a racket in her life, however, we were able to start from the basics, then progress to more advance drills and exercises, where she was able to do thanks to her listening and commitment to improving.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
