In 2010 I began learning under and instructing with my husband, Coach Mike Street. Coach Mike gained his coaching experience from some of the best at UT-Knoxville, where he also coached the Lady Vols Tennis Team. In 2014 I decided to commit fully to teaching and coaching tennis and returned to college to pursue my B.S. in Human Performance and Sports Science. Since I started teaching in 2010, I have instructed hundreds of students, all ages all levels...all lesson types- private lessons, small group and clinics. I develop aggressive players through repetition of correct form and technique. Quick progression keeps both the student and me happy.
Please visit www.StreetFamilyTennis.com for more pics and videos. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and live in Franklin with our 3 amazing daughters, 3 cats and our sweet pup . In addition to teaching tennis, I am also a full time college student at TSU.Teaching style: fast, hard court play emphasizing the serve and volley.
Intense, thorough instruction - Learn all aspects of the sport - Stroke refinement, strategy, shot selection and execution.I am confident that my knowledge and training will develop a life long player that will have the foundation to play at any level.
An advantage that I have over local facilities is that I am dedicated to each and every student- not just the winners, not just those that pay the most. I am not satisfied with a paycheck, I am satisfied when I produce great results. In addition to technique, I stress the importance of physical conditioning and mental strength to enhance the player.I create a comfortable atmosphere where it is ok to make mistakes, try new things and have fun learning. One of the main reasons that I enjoy tennis is because of the intense workout it can be while having a ton of fun- I dislike gyms and boring workouts.
