Aurelio Planes Rodriguez was born in Guantanamo, Cuba in 1992. In 2004 Aurelio began his dance studies at the Regino Eladio Boti Vocational School of Art. In 2007 he joined the Manuel Muñoz Cedeño National Art School and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, specializing in teaching and the professional performance of Folk and Modern-Contemporary dance. In 2010 he began to work as a teacher of Choreography and Composition at the Regino Eladio Boti Vocational School of Art in Guantanamo. I am very patient and will not get frustrated with you, we all start out somewhere, I'm here to nurture that. The Austin City Ballet was founded in 1991, originally as The Conservatory Dance Theatre, for dance students at The Austin Conservatory of the Arts and local dance students to enjoy a pre-professional performing experience. This year we celebrate 29 years as the premiere training organization and serve Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, Pflugerville and Georgetown. This year ACB presents The 19th annual Austin Children’s Nutcracker. In the Spring we will present a classical ballet coupled with a children’s ballet.
