I started playing guitar at the age of 8 years old. I have been a Music teacher now since the age of 15.. I have taught 1000's of students and inspired people of all ages to learn a musical instrument & share the joys of playing Music!!!

I am of the opinion that everybody learns differently. What may work for one student, may notifier another. My lessons are one-on-one and are tailored to each student. My goal is to help my students learn, and have fun while doing it, so that they build the skills needed to enjoy music for a lifetime. I love seeing the light click on when a student, no matter what age or skill level, realizes they can do it. I’ve been playing all my life, starting with Classical, Jazz and Latin at age 11 in New York City. While in NYC I played with likes of Dave Liebman, Bob Berg, Will Lee, Richard T, John Tropea, Michael Brecker. I teach (play) a method I created many years ago called “Hand Chasing”, which would the basis of my lessons. I do not wish to do 1/2 hour lessons.

Girl Guitar offers group classes for women in guitar, songwriting, and various full band experiences with community and performances built in. Private lessons are available for men and women over 21.
