Hello!
My name is Christopher M. Hurt and I have been a professional actor in New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas for 14 years. My specialty is film and television, but I also teach acting for the stage. I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild/ American Federation for Radio and Television Artist's and Actors Equity union. I have also taught at Texas Thespian Festival for the past 2 years! I can also help with anything for parents on how to help their child succeed in their acting careers.

I think what I enjoy the most is a students "ah ha" moment. That moment when everything clicks in there head and it breaks down the walls that they built up for themselves.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will start with basic exercises for vocail techinques and then give the student some monolouges to work with on the first lesson. After that we begin working on a monologue and how to proper disect it. Once we are done with the monologue portion we will then start to work on cold readings!

Emergency Audition Prep- $60
Travel is not included in pricing, but I do Travel to your location!
How did you get started teaching?
I have always loved my acting coaches and teachers when I was younger. I still feel like that, without their help, I would not be where I am today. I want to pass on everything that I have learned to new or upcoming actors!
