As an instructor, my students say I am funny, easy to get along with and have a real-world grasp of the industry. Being a part of this industry for over 30 years, I have watched several of my talented students achieve being in films, on the runway, being a spokesmodel, voice-over talent, and so much more. Their achievements make me happy, knowing I was an instrument of their learning skills. I do give one-on-one consultations - private lessons, as well as small group sessions where needed. I have received numerous awards for the training of models and actors from the Model and Talent Expo company since its inception in 1992.
My services are tailored to each student's particular needs. My work in the entertainment industry, whether teaching acting, monologues, two-person scenes, Television, film, production, or modeling, comes from firsthand experiences. I genuinely believe you have to have a firm foundation, confidence to build on, and patience. Never give up!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We have a meet and greet and do an evaluation of the type of experience in the entertainment industry they have. If this is a first-time student with little or no experience we tailor a program just for them. If the student wishes to study commercial print work or modeling we have a curriculum on posing, runway, skincare, basic makeup to fashion looks, wardrobe, and more.
For our acting curriculum Introduction to acting 101, terms, actor resource, cold reading, monologues, two people scene, voice study, relaxation techniques, breaking down a scene, voice-over study, self-taping, and more. We also work with a variety of agents throughout local and national agencies.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
From being in the business for many years and having been on T.V. commercials, the original Walker Texas Ranger, and other movies and training work shops that I have attended through the years I can bring my knowledge of these skills to each person who is interested in our program. As well as working with a production company, www. royalfortunefilms.com
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The introduction price is $50.00 per session for 75minutes or as needed. Sessions are booked for 4 to 6 weeks time frame.
For our advance sessions, we offer a photo session for headshots, composite cards, and portfolios with several selected photographers. Rates vary per photographer.
For those that need to do a demo reel, we have availability to book a session in the studio. (TBD)
How did you get started teaching?
This became very natural for me as I worked in retail as a manager and was approached to handle fashion events, promotional events to book models for shows, and promotional modeling. And worked as a promotional model and motivational speaker for different companies. Booked actors for different events in promotions.
What types of students have you worked with?
Worked with many talent from children as young as 5 years of ages for pageants, and film. Teenages to adults all fom different backgrounds. Also worked in the Dallas Indendent School District for an after school program for JR. Players.Org
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A few years ago I saw this young lady have a dream to model. We spoke and she took some workshop sessions and now has been modeling for many years through a well-known modeling agency.
Yet another more mature model was in a fashion show of mine and is now a spokesmodel for a well-known cosmetic company on HSN.
An actor friend of mine came to me for workshop sessions on acting and won several awards through competition and signed with an agent. And today has film and show events. He is now also a creator of his own fragrance line found in select stores..
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask lots of questions, research what you think you really want to do inthe industry. Prepare your mind, body and soul with acting sessions to best equiped your skills. Test shoot with photographers to better your kill as a model. But aslo know the pitfalls of this industry!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
