DFW Kizomba Universe
About
Shika J has been dancing since she was a young girl. She helped choreograph her first show when she was in the 5th grade winning her a competition. Shika J has over 20 years of dance training in ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern, and hip hop. She's been a part of several dance companies and dance groups. She also has over 15 years teaching. Now she's been training in Kizomba with several master teachers in UrbanKiz, Kizomba and Semba as well as other partner dancing. Kizomba is her love and passion; and, she desires to spread her love of Kizomba with several others.
I enjoy giving back to community what dance has given to me. Kizomba in particular has so many parallels to life. It's a great way to express your self through art as well as getting to know yourself on a deeper level.
