About
I have been teaching music and dance for more than 25 years. I am available for both in person and remote/zoom lessons. I teach in an upbeat style, and I'm flexible on teaching schedules. For music, I teach piano, guitar, drums, bass and voice. For dance, I teach ballroom (waltz, jitterbug, foxtrot, tango, cha-cha, etc) line dancing and beginner tap. I love helping students learn and my goal is to inspire them and enrich their lives through music and dance.
One of the things I love most about teaching is it's often the culmination of a lifelong dream for my students who "always wanted to learn." For younger students, it's often the beginning of inspiration for a lifetime of music or dancing.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We talk about the students goals, music preferences etc. For dance, we'll learn some basic dances to get started, always going at the student's pace. For music, I have an excellent curriculum that can be tailored for all ages from five years old through to adult. Most of all, dancing and music should be a joyful experience that inspires us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been teaching music and dance for more than 30 years and have owned my own academy for nearly 15 years. I have taught students of all ages.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Music lessons are $125 per month for four, 30-minute weekly lessons. Dance lessons are $50 per hour for individuals and $65 per hour for couples.
