About
My lessons are much more reasonably priced than others. Mine are $30 for a half hour.
I do not have a standard curiculum, I personalize every single lesson for each student.
I love music and I love teaching! I know the incredible feeling you get when you're learning an instrument and I love being apart of that. I also genuinely love watching a student's progress on an instrument.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I like to talk about experience with the instrument; what their musical goals are, and why they want to get better on their instrument.
Once I have a good idea of where a student is, then I start teaching based on that information. I always personalize my approach for each student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been drumming for 14 years.
I studied at USC's Thornton School of music for 2 years and St. Edward's jazz program for two years.
I have studied with over 10 different private lessons instructors, including world renowned drummers Roy McCurdy and Sebastian Whittaker. Sebastian was my instructor for several years.

How did you get started teaching?
Over year ago I began teaching private lessons at Guitar Center.
What types of students have you worked with?
My youngest student is 6 years old; my oldest student is in his 50s. I have worked with students with learning disabilites and students with ADD. I am quite confident I can teach anyone!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a student recently tell me how grateful they were for their improvement on the drums. That always is magical!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher you can have fun with and that you respect! There's a big difference between great drummers and great teachers!!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about why you like the drums and what you want to become. Find some great drummers that you want to sound like! Also, think about some music you like!
