Improve putting first.  ~1/2 of one's total score is with the putter.

Improve the short game.  Chipping and pitching the ball closer to the hole around the greens cuts the number of putts in the score.

#1 player on the varsity golf team at Rich Central High School in Olympia Fields, IL.  Played in the IHSA Class 1A State Final Tournament as a senior in 1975.

Learned to play golf at the Olympia Fields Country Club in Olympia Fields, IL.  The north course has had many professional tour events including the US Open in 2003.

Won the junior member championship and took second in the associate member championship at the Olympia Fields Country Club in 1975 and 1976, respectively.

Won and placed in local junior tournaments from 1972 to 1975.

Played on the golf team at Wake Forest University and the University of Illinois- Urbana/Champaign from 1976 to 1978.  Taught golf lessons to others while in school.

Taught Chinese Executives in Beijing, China how to improve their games from 2005 to 2016.  Was able to help one student reduce his handicap from 54 to 21 in less than 2 years.
