Tim Powley Golf Instruction

As a junior golfer, my desire to play competitive golf fueled my focus and intensity to develop the most of my ability. My high school achievements led to competing as a member of the Florida State Golf team. First hand, I watched the practice and work ethic that was necessary to achieve the levels of tour professionals like Paul Azinger and Jeff Sluman.

My PGA professional career began at Pinehurst Country Club, thanks to a very good friend and mentor - Head Professional, Richard Wainwright. During that 10 year tenure, I became a lead instructor at the Pinehurst Golf Advantage School under the Director of Instruction, Eric Alpenfels (Golf Digest Top 50). Our instruction utilized state of the art video equipment for the 1980’s, and many top amateurs, as well as LPGA and PGA professionals visited the facility on a regular basis.
