I have 35 year background working with actors of all experience levels. I hold a Masters degree in Acting, and have extensive experience teaching at the university level. My specialties involve coaching voice, movement, text analysis, scene work, audition prep, and musical theatre. I also have a broad knowledge of all performance methodologies.
For the serious student of the art of acting, I look forward to leading performers in bringing out the most essential part of thier acting strength...themselves!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It begins with establishing student goals and assessing the strengths of the student and identifying areas for improvement. Then, using a personalized approach, we work together to enhance confidence and ease in performance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have both a BFA in theatre from the Proffesional Training Program at SMU and an MFA in Acting from the University of South Carolina. I am the Artistic Director of The Texas Reperrtory Theatre Co. , and was a master acting teacher for both the Houston Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Houston Ballet.
