I have been the Artistic Director of Soul Rep Theatre Company since 1996. I am a certified Theatre Teacher (K-12) in the state of Texas where I teach full time at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.
I graduated from Booker T. in 1989, Howard University in 1993 and earned a Masters in Theatre from Texas A&M Commerce in 2017.
As an acting coach I focus on objective work, voice/diction, beats and character development. Sessions include: Relaxation exercises, Improvisation, Cold Reading, Memory Work and Monologue Coaching.
