We offer beginning level dance classes to children ages 2 to 5. Our classes help children learn a sense of rhythm and basic dance positions and terms.
I love teaching dance to children because it is so rewarding to see them find an outlet to express themselves while being physically fit as well. The confidence that most children grow through dance is a beautiful sight to see. I love to bring dance to children to show them that while typical subjects you are taught in school are important, art is just as important as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When a new student comes into my class I introduce them to the rest of the class and assign them a buddy for the first few days so the child is able to meet and make friends with other students.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a dance major at the University of North Texas and have been teaching children ages 3 to 14 for the past 7 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Your first class is $15! Classes after that are $20 or since classes for this age group are 3 times a week, $50 for all three days!
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching at dance clinics while I was still in high school and oftwn helped my dance teacher with students that were struggling and teaching classes when she was absent.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have thought to students of all ages at once and have previous experience working with a young lady with autism.
