Michal has been instructing my daughter for several months now and she has improved remarkably. She had never played tennis before starting lessons with him. He has a logical method of progression and knows how to focus on improving technique. Nice guy to work with.

Michal is a coach with real life experience in super champ and college level divisions. He sees the players movement and technique and is able to figure out the most relevant issues to improve the game. I saw him work with small children, USTA ITF players and just with a mature players, who simply want to be healthy and enjoy distance sport in Covid time. Michal focuses on injury prevention. Uses different balls and rackets to help a player find their best fit. He is also fun on the court.

    Frequently asked questions

I always interview the student or talk with their parents about their goals. Their abilities, their concerns, and especially when it relates to previous injuries. Then I access their basic skills such as running, hand eye coordination, and basic strokes. Next we discuss the students goals and time frame for when they want achieve their goals.

I have been a tennis player since the age of four. During my career as a junior I played in the national and international circuit accumulating top five ranking state wise and top twenty ranking national wise.

In my tennis education I trained under professional coaches such as Emilio Sanchez from Spain and top international instructors. As well known academies in various parts of Europe and Sanchez Casal Academia in Florida.

I am Proffesionally tennis registered certified and have been teaching tennis since the age of 16.

Additionally I have had injury prevention training by a sport physical therapist and because of that I have never been injured during my career and have never defaulted any matches.

I have a standard pricing for my lessons a single 1hr lesson costs $60. If a client purchases five lessons upfront the charge drops to $55 a lesson.

A ten lesson package costs $500 upfront and has to be completed within four weeks.

I add a free injury prevention session with a sport physical therapist focusing on tennis performance which is a value of $100 (30min). This can be done online or in person after five lessons.

My passion for teaching was inspired by my father coaching me and my other coaches in Fort Worth, Dallas, Spain and Florida academies.

I enjoy helping people overcome their stumbling blocks when it comes to movement, coordination, balance, and technique.

The emotional aspect of the tennis game is also of my interest for those clients that are competing. I have personal experience of overcoming many emotional challenges on the court and I share my techniques of overcoming these problems.

My philosophy is that anybody can learn tennis at any age.

My youngest student was four years old and my oldest student has been 74.

I also have had clients with Ptsd, who were able to use the rhythm of movement and tennis to be able to calm down their emotions.

I have recently assisted in preparation of a high school student who underwent a major spine surgery to correct a deformity.

This young man's dream was to get on a college tennis team and I just learned he did succeed and that really brought a smile to my face that I could be a part of this achievement.

When I was young my parents and I were always looking for a coach who had a personality that would inspire me to do my best.

I would recommend that a person should get on the court with a coach and see if they are a fit expecially when it comes to clarity of instruction and overcoming challenges.

I don't believe this can be done in one session. So I recommend you see your coach 3-5 times before you make a decision to see whether you are a fit or not.

Here are some examples of questions a student can ask of a coach.

    1. Has the coach trained and played at the level that is relevant to the students level of skill?

    2. Will the coach be able to modify techniques to assist students who had specific challenges with movement and coordination? And how will the coach do it?

    3. Does the coach have basic knowledge of preventing injuries and warm up strategies to prevent injuries in tennis?

    4. Does the coach follow covid-19 prevention?
