I have been teaching dance for about 25 years, and am wonderful with both kids and adults! I have a little studio in my home garage, but can also travel to you for a fee, or teach via Skype or Facetime. I teach beginning-advanced ballet and pointe, beginning-intermediate jazz, tap and contemporary dance styles as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am flexible in working students to acheive their goals. Whether it is learning steps and technique or working on choreography, I can do it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certification in University Nevada Las Vegas Dance Teacher University Program. Certified Acrobatic Arts Instructor. And 25 years of teaching and choreogrpahing experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$25/half hour private lesson and $40/hour private lesson. I can also do semi-private lessons for the same price but two or three dancers split the cost amongst themselves. Extra fee of $1/mile if I need to travel to you.
How did you get started teaching?
I was a passionate and driven dancer as a child and growing up, and began teaching when I was a teenager.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught students as young as two years old, and all ages up to adult mothers. I have also some experience with students having special needs.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I run a nonprofit damce service organization called “Georgetown Dance Project”. It has been a very rewarding serving underprivileged children in our community by teaching them dance free of charge.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you have a teacher who cares about not just your success, but your journey getting there being filled with kindness and encouragement.
