Let us know how long you've been studying ballet or any other forms of dance.  No previous experience.  That's okay.  We require all our new students to take a free placement class before they register.  We want to make sure we find the proper level for you within our academy.

Randall Marks began training at Tidewater Ballet with Susan Boree, Irtha Kitt, Edward Villela, Gene Hammet, Pat Sorell and Robert Steele. Mr. Marks then studied with Joffrey Ballet, Washington Ballet and accepted an apprenticeship with Pennsylvania Ballet where he trained with Lupe Serano and Benjamin Harkave.  He was a soloist with Ballets Elan and then Principal with Atlantic City Ballet.  Mr. Marks was invited to dance at the Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival and with Finis Jung’s Chamber Ballet USA in New York City.  He was principal dancer with Ballet Austin, toured internationally with New York City’s Dennis Wayne’s Dance Company then accepted a position with New York City Metropolitan Opera Ballet Company and guest starred with Connecticut Ballet Theater and Garden State Ballet.  Mr. Marks accepted the position of resident choreographer/principal dancer with Tapestry Dance Company and excepted an invitation to guest direct the last half of ACB’s final season. Sought after by many schools in the Austin and Central Texas Region, Mr. Marks divided his time as director of ballet at the Austin School for the Performing and Visual Arts, training at several studios, judging for many competitions including the American Ballet Competition and teaching throughout the United States in such places as Richmond Ballet, Corpus Christi Concert Ballet, New York, Washington State and the Joffrey summer program.
