I am Carol Pock - Culinary instructor for Cooking with Carol . I have been a cooking instructor for years and have taught young children as well as teens and adults. I am director of The Rice Epicurian Cooking School, due to Covid I currently am meeting the needs of each request on an Visual basis. I have been competing with the Food Network and could be seen on Guys Grocery Game. All of my classes are hands-on, can be basic or difficult or simple but all classes are fun and customize to meet the needs of all of my students.
The fellowship cooking offers cannot be compared to any other activity. I love offering others the great skills of cooking and preparing meals that make families or friends come together for fun and happiness. The flavors I teach you to create cannot be beat! I put good health and great food into your two hands! Cooking is a sure Recipe for Success!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would love to talk by phone first to find out your needs and how I can offer my best services. We design the menu together,see if there are any food allergies or special needs so that I can customize each menu. I prepare a menu and grocery list,we pick a date and go from there! Each cooking lesson is a recipe for success from start to finish!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a retired math teacher and have been a Culinary Instructor for 12 years but have been running my own cooking school is Houston Texas for 4 years. Idesigned my own Cooking Class for Children in the schools called:
"Batter Up for Success" and run Cooking Camps durning the summer. I love teaching cooking classes and especially love teaching families and many others how to bring families back to the table!
