Tin Can Golf Instruction
Winner of the Texas Open, 4 year player, played in the US Open and PGA, 30plus professional wins and 7 money list titles and that's just a small part of my pro career.
I’ve been teaching full time 7yrs now, but really all my life. I've spent 36years of my life learning this wonderful game and I truly want to help you enjoy it more.
I taught myself to inside the top 300 in the world starting at a 9hole cow pasture course just outside Houston called “The Bend” and I’ll show you how I did it!
Nothing gives me more joy then getting someone to realize that they could be better then they think.
If you look on my website you will notice my lessons are 2hrs and 4hrs long and there is a reason for that. All I can say is I’ve been doing this awhile and understand the process, one hour is simply not enough time.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process with students if we are working on the full swing is have them start with a short club to get warmed up and I can quickly see if their are any big flaws. If so we identify them, talk about them, and begin the process of working on them. If they are small I tend to take a little more time to fully understand how the inconsistency is happening, then we discuss the way in which we will go about addressing that inconsistency. Then once we get a better feeling for the movement we then address longer clubs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been playing since I was four years old, starting out at my grandfather's farm in farmersville, tx. I played for the University of Arizona, and have been pro for 10 years. I'm self taught for the most part having only two lessons, but those by two of the best in the world Bob Rotella and Dave Stockton. My degree is in psychology because as we all know but don't always want to admit 90% is thinking the right way. I've played on the Web.com full time and even played a few PGA events, including the 2009 US Open.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
How did you get started teaching?
I started doing clinics on the Web.com and found out I really enjoying helping people enjoy golf more. It makes me happy when something clicks for someone.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all sorts of ages, levels, guys and girls
