About
Body movement & prop manipulation has been my passion since a child .
Teaching others to utilize their talents and helping them through movement is my mission .
The expression that dance creates is therapy for me and others that share the same passions for movement .
It’s a daily intensive workout as you have to lift your own weight .
Movement therapy will reboot your energy mind body and soul.
Students will be taught how to express their life’s emotions through movement becoming confident in them selfs.
Hula hoop movement is an ancient technique to create flow in the center of our selves.
Flowstate; In positive psychology, flow, also known as the zone, is the mental state
of operation in which a person performing an activity is fully immersed in
a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the
process of the activity.
Connecting with others and helping them heal through movement is my purpose.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First part will be introducing our selfs and going over what I will be teaching .
Second part we will begin to stretch and introduce basic movements to get the energy body flowing .
Third part We will go over 3 tricks practice until memorized and put in to a choreography.
Fourth part stretch and meditate .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Rubi is a self taught dancer performer since the age of 6 , however She has completeded 3 intensive hula hoop workshops .
Rubi made her way into the LA international arts performing academy, choreographed sweet 16 , created her own break dancing crew and electro crew and competed in a USA dance generation major electro league.

Adults $60 per one hour session .
Kids $50 per session
Kids party $100 to $150
Private party’s $100 to $200
Flow prop performance 100 to 200
Dance fire performance $200 to $400
Group hula hoop sessions for adults sessions $80to $100
How did you get started teaching?
Rubi started teaching in her unior year of high school she was 16 When she created her first all girl breakdancing crew.
