After 40 years in the industry and an emphasis on instruction I believe i have the ability to help a golfer improve his skills. Recently retired and enjoy working with people.
Helping an individual improve his game and increase the fun he has on the course is all I need to enjoy this vocation.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Most lessons will last about 45 minutes. We will discuss what the customers goals are for this lesson(s). Observe customer hit balls and record video. Watch video and make suggestions. Work with teaching aids and specific drills to help improvement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
40 years in the golf industry. Attended numerous seminars and continuing education to keep teaching skills sharp. Utilize the V-1 video system for recording of your golf swing for analysis. Also had success as a SENIOR participant in Southern Texas PGA Senior Series where I won 9 events between 2002-2019.

How did you get started teaching?
Followed in my brothers foot steps. He was a very successful Golf Professional at Nakoma Country Club in Madison, Wisconsin.
What types of students have you worked with?
All genders and ages. Beginners to experienced single digit handicappers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A young girl and her father came to me about two and half years ago. She was shooting about 115 and wanted to improve. In the summer of 2015 she finished 7th in the San Antonio Girls City Championship, just 3 shots out of 4th. She will play college golf at Concordia University in Austin, Tx.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone you are compatible with.

Are you willing to practice what you learned in order to improve.
