The Artists in Motion Performing & Visual Arts Academy is fully devoted to providing artists of all ages and ethnicities an encouraging environment where they are given the opportunity to grow and excel in their fine arts education. We aim to provide high quality instruction at a economical price point. We strive to deliver the highest quality of training, while nurturing each student’s unique gift of talent and creativity. Our plight is to bridge the gap between the Galveston County community and the arts community. We wish to encourage our students to achieve their fullest potential – to support them as they grow artistically/ academically, and develop into well-rounded individuals – nourished in body, mind and spirit.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we ask our students what areas would they like to train. Once we know where they want to train artistically we will evaluate them with one of our highly qualified instructors and begin their training regiment.

BA in Theatre emphasis in Musical Theatre & Directing

How did you get started teaching?
When I was 14 at the studio I grew up in under the tutelege of Barbra Jean Cown.
