Desiree Raciti, 24 years old, latin dance instructor (cuban salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton and cuban folklore; Also, Zumba instructor. I started to teach in Italy(where i come from) and continued in Texas, Houston.
I dance since i was 5 years, i started with ballet and finished with latin.I parteciped in different ballroom competions, i'm italian champion of Salsa and my last victory was on 2013, i took 1place in Cuban salsa. Dance is my life, the only way that i can express who really am I;It makes me happy, free and in onother world. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before to start dance i make sure to explain and show the steps that we'll been doing and as cuban style, i explain even the history and the meaning of each step.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
CUBAN SALSA, MERENGUE, REGGAETON, SALSA LADYSTYLE, BACHATA, CUBAN FOLKLORE, ZUMBA FITNESS DANCE.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
1 private class: (salsa,merengue,reggaeton or folklore) 40$ per hour. (price change of the quantity the people).
Zumba dance fitness: (in group) 15$ per 1hour.
How did you get started teaching?
First i was student and then the instructor asked me to teach in his same dance school.
