Although I have played and competed in golf for almost my entire life, my greatest pleasure derived from golf has been teaching. In teaching golf it has made it possible to pass on my aquired knowledge to those I have had the pleasure to teach and more importantly. it has given me almost immediate gratification in seeing my students advance in skill.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is assessment of the students skill level. The lesson plan depends on the skill level and the desired goals of the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started playing and taking lessons in golf when I was three years old and started in junior competition at seven. I played on the golf team in school through Jr and Senior High. I received a full ride scholarship to play in College. A few years after graduation, I turned professional and played the PGA tour for ten years. After an injury I left the tour and attended the PGA school for Club Professionals. For the next 10 years I built and managed golf courses and clubs, developing player development programs and golf instruction to thousands of players of all skill levels and ages.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing on request based on skill level, length of lessons (1 hour, 1/2 hour), frequency of lessons, number of participants (Group lessons or clinics) and age of students (chidren and seniors discounted).
How did you get started teaching?
At first, freinds and associates requested pointers and tips, then when involved in professional sponsor appearances and clinics it expanded to off-season instructional clinics. After retirement from the tour, lessons became part of my income stream and the development of a customer base for golf courses/clubs.
