Ever since the 3rd grade, I've been captivated by the thrill of performing. Despite having no connections in the film and TV industry and being viewed as crazy for pursuing such a challenging career, I remained undeterred. I started out like most actors - taking classes, waiting tables, and modeling for 8 years around the world, but my heart always belonged to acting.
After moving to Los Angeles and enduring countless rejections, I finally landed my first lead role in a film and proudly became a SAG/AFTRA union actor. It was a decade of hard work, but I never gave up on my dreams. I created my program to help both new and seasoned actors hone their skills and book the roles of their dreams. I'm confident that I can train you to shine on camera and understand the business, so you can carve out a successful career in film and TV!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
As an actor who's new to me, your first step is to book a 45-minute Career Consultation via Zoom. You can schedule at this link https://calendly.com/actorsauditionstudioswithlar/careerconsultation
During your consult, we will review any materials you currently have -- including your headshots, resume, and demos.
We'll also discuss your career goals and see if we are a good fit for each other. I have a wealth of information to share with you, from learning which casting sites and agents are legit, and to explaining how the casting process works.
For actors with more experience, I may review recent self-tape auditions or demos and give my expert opinion. The consultation costs $195, runs 45 minutes, and includes an autographed copy of my acting book, “Get Started Not Scammed," which will be mailed to you or available for pickup on class day one!
After the consultation, I may offer you one of several programs, including 3-6 month programs and my online course, "Start Acting Today" which is just $295. This is a great resource with 12 lessons, geared toward the new actor!
