Ive been playing drums for 10 years. As an adult student, I wanted to find an instructor with enough experience to push me to a new level. I found that and more! Rob is a mentor who has helped me prepare technically and mentally for any playing situation. I would recommend him to any drummer, no matter what skill level.

    Frequently asked questions

Each student's abilities and goals are unique, so I develop a custom lesson plan for each student. Your first lesson consists of two parts: a discussion of goals and expectations, and a low-stress playing assessment. I'll lead you through a series of exercises designed to quickly and accurately find your strengths and areas for improvement.

I regularly work with other professional drummers and educators to further my playing and teaching abilities. Notable Famous Drummers: Louise Belson (Jazz Great), Greg Bissonette (David Lee Roth), Zoro (Lenny Kravitz), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Tommy Aldridge (Ozzy, Whitesnake) & Teddy Campbell (American Idol).

Weekly lessons cost $170 per month.

I have had a passion for drums and teaching since my first student in 1991. I have been teaching professionally since 1999 in Plano, TX

Most students are interested in beginning to advanced drum set playing. I also regularly teach school percussion, marching percussion and Latin percussion (conga, timbales, etc.) to students of all ages and playing levels.

I'm proud of each of my student's accomplishments. Whether it's learning a new drum beat, a successful audition, or simply turning a bad day into a good day with some drumming.

Find a teacher with lots of teaching and performing experience, who has good communication skills, is patient, and makes you comfortable during your lessons.

It's nice when students have specific goals in mind, but I'm always happy to discuss this and figure it out together at our first lesson.
