However, adults are capable of learning and deriving pleasure from playing the violin, irrespective of their age.

Rock Out Loud Music Studio is the place to be for music fans. My daughter goes here and she's taught Violin by Daniel, the maestro who has such passion and dedication for Music. Daniel's guidance has led my daughter to be very successful in Orchestra at school. He creates a safe space for mistakes and encourages students to learn from them on every lesson. He also taught her Piano and she's since grasped that skill and has been using it successfully.
I wholeheartedly recommend Daniel as a teacher and the studio for whoever is looking for music teachers in this area.

When I was about 12 years old, I went through a major change in my musical life, as a violinist. I had to adjust all of my technique due to stiffness when playing and constant tension. As I went through the methodical ways of correct body motion and muscle control, I lost an important teacher and role model. I therefore urgently needed someone to help me stay along the right path, and guide me to better myself as a violinist, and as a musician. As I entered high school and the started the Manhattan School of Music pre-college division, Wu Jie was listed to be my new teacher. I knew she had been part of the incredible Escher String Quartet, whomst I look(ed) up to greatly. However, I didn’t know what to expect, and had little background knowledge of her from a teacher perspective. Little did I know, she would take me on a journey to challenge my musical mindset and curate my technical imperfections. Every lesson, when I started with scales, Wu Jie never failed to remind me of all the motions I needed to make to develop the best sound that I could produce. A good sound was something that was always highly valued in her lesson room. Wu Jie also has a great memory to the progress you make. She always remembers how you sounded the last time she heard you, and can understand what you worked on for the time being. Even when I wasn’t being the best student, Wu Jie was always patient, but realistic. She knows how to put pressure on someone as a student, and to make them work harder, in the healthiest of ways of course! Throughout the several years that she taught me, I had truly changed and appreciated so many new aspects of music, and the violin. Wu Jie helped myself and her students reach many great accolades, schools, festivals, (etc.), and will do only more of that with any other students she gets a chance to work with
