Sunny Violin Studio
About
I’m a dedicated Suzuki violin teacher with over twenty years in music education and more than fifteen years specializing in early violin instruction. I believe that the right method, caring guidance and a loving atmosphere can awaken every child’s passion for music and their ability to express themselves.
Teaching Experience
• Over 20 years in music education; 15+ years teaching Suzuki violin
• Founded my own Suzuki studio eight years ago—each year we present 1–2 student recitals and several school or community performances
• Well regarded in our local Asian-American community; many students have won city- and intercontinental-level competitions and earned places in the youth symphony orchestra
Teaching Philosophy
Family–Teacher Partnership
– Parents join every lesson, so children learn with encouragement and support
Fundamentals & Fun
– From bow hold and finger technique to phrasing, we build a solid foundation step by step, using games and stories to spark curiosity
Whole-Child Musicianship
– I teach listening, appreciation and enjoyment of music—with the ultimate goal that each child can express emotion through their violin
Studio Highlights
• Monthly group ensemble plus weekly one-on-one lessons, blending interaction with personalized guidance
• Diverse performance opportunities—recitals, community outreach concerts and holiday showcases to help students shine on stage
• Family concerts at home—my own children perform with me, creating a warm “musical family” atmosphere
Personal Background
• Classical music is my life’s heartbeat
• I cherish education and the arts, and I know firsthand how family support and good aesthetic values enrich a child’s growth
I warmly invite music-loving children (and their families) to join our Suzuki violin studio. Let’s embark together on a joyful musical journey in a harmonious family and community setting!
