About
I have been dancing since the age of 2, teaching dance since the age of 12, and teaching partnership dancing for over 6 years. That's over 40 years of dancing!! While I teach all levels, I find the most joy in teaching beginners. Having been on every side of the business from student, competitor, teacher, office manager, to owner, gives me a unique perspective to ensure all of our clients have a wonderful experience throughout their unique dance journey.
We love watching out students experience the joy of dance! It is very rewarding to see students transform from timid beginner dancers and move forward in their dancing, gaining tons of confidence along the way!

We want to make sure to establish a great working relationship with all new students. We are specialisits in teaching beginners, even if you think you have 2 left feet! Our instructors are skilled in helping people to learn to dance for their very first time, and will help you learn the fundamentals of partner dancing to make your lessons fun, fast and easy!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our dance instructors are experienced professionals, receive ongoing dance training and coaching, have competed professionally as well as in pro/am divisions and are award-winning professionals in the classical and ballroom dance communities. How did you get started teaching?
I began dancing very young and received my dance teacher training certificate over 35 years ago. Ballroom dancing was added to the mix over 6 years ago. I've always loved the art and freedom of expression in many styles of dance. Several years ago I found an opportunity to pass along my love of dancing by owning a studio, and now love helping others to experience the joy of dancing to acheive their goals!
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with several diverse groups of students over the years. Our expertise is with beginners of all ages, working with all skill levels for those looking to pick up a new hobby, to those looking to compete. We especially love working with beginners because we enjoy that moment when they realize they can dance! Wedding couples are also a joy to work with because we can help them create the wedding dance of their dreams.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently added LaBlast Fistness and Line Dancing classes to our group class schedule, both in the studio and online. LaBlast is a life-changing dance fitness program that inspires the mind and transforms the body while teaching the true skill of dance. The LaBlast program empowers people to get moving through the power of Dance! Each LaBlast class allow everyon - from absolute beginner to the advanced dancer - to experience a customized routine chock-full of function and fun. From Disco to Tango, Rumba, Salsa, Cha Cha, Waltz and more, the program can be made challenging enough for a professional dancer or provide even the most rhythmically challenged a fun workout. If you can clap it, you can dance it, even if you've never danced before!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
We realize that everyone learns in different ways and at different paces. Try to find an instructor who has the ability to tailor his/her teaching methods to your unique style of learning. Having fun in your lessons while learning is the goal!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Having a goal in mind is important. What is your reason for taking lessons? We like to think of learning to dance as a journey rather than a desitnation. We believe you never stop learning as you grow in your dancing. Our advice to new students is to be patient with yourself and allow yourself time to succeed greatly!
