I grew up playing team sports my whole life, when I was cut from my 8th grade basketball team (after being the mvp in 7th grade!) I took up tennis and never looked back. I have gone to tons of camps and spent countless hours on the court and one thing that I always take with me everywhere is the positive attitude that my amazing coach taught me growing up. Tennis is 80% mental and life is about fun and having lots of it, I refuse to be negative and I think the "hardcore" coaches have lost sight about why people take up a sport in the first place. Its about health, wellness and personal growth, all of which are pillars of my teaching philosophy. I am just getting back into teaching and looking to take on new students with good attitudes.
