Kent Gray Tennis Lessons
Kent Gray is beginning his first year as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Tennis Teams. As a 2007 graduate of Texas A&M University, Gray brings playing and coaching experience to the Patriots.
As a member of the Harlingen South High School regional qualifying team and as an individual regional qualifier, Gray was nominated as team captain during his last two years at Harlingen South. While in college, Gray coached at Brazos Christian High School and led one doubles team and a singles player to win state titles. Upon graduation, he directed the fitness and instructed tennis at Steve Smith Tennis School in Tampa, FL. Gray has also served as the Assistant Coach for the Hillsboro Community College Women’s Team.
Gray has worked at several tennis clubs throughout his life and enjoys helping clients develop sound technical habits that lay a solid foundation for their tennis game. Gray also has a passion for fitness and leads the work-out sessions for the Patriot Tennis Teams.
Gray has spent several years serving as a YoungLife volunteer leader and currently volunteers at WyldLife at Lake Highlands Junior High in Dallas, Texas. Coach Gray is pursuing a Master of Education in Kinesiology at DBU and plans to graduate in 2014. Kent and his wife, Sarah, reside in Dallas, Texas, and are member at The Village Church-Dallas.
