About
I have a great teaching style and I'm super patient. I work with beginners a lot! I have had my own business for 14 years and I've taught for 24 years. I have a degree in public relations and dance from Texas Tech University.
I love seeing a dancer get a new skill and the excitement they have when they achieve something they've worked on! Dance is my passion and I love sharing my passion with others.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically do a standard beginning class to access what they can do and build my lessons from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in dance from Texas Tech University and I've owned my own dance business for 14 years. I attend yearly teach trainings to be on the cutting edge of dance technique. I've also taught dance for 24 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $70 per hour for lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at age 16 at Struts N Company in McKinney, TX. I had a baby tap/ballet class that I taught and fell in love with teaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with children ages 1 up to adult as old as 80. I've also taught children with disabilities.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone whose personality fits with yours and who can make learing fun! Just because someone has great experience on paper doesn't mean that they are the best teacher.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your goals? Are you trying out for a team? Is this something you want to do long term or just for a short period of time?
