Courtney is an Amazing Dance Instructor! Not only is she skilled but is very passionate about teaching dance. She was patient and made the learning process very easy and took a student who didnt think they'd ever be able to dance and made it fun and built my confidence in myself. If you want to learn how to dance, especially if you don't think you can do it, Courtney is the perfect Instructor for you.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I like to give my students an opportunity to experience my teaching style, so the first private lesson I offer is complimentary. This will also allow me to assess my students' learning styles, as well as their dance ability, to ensure the program I design will be the most effective.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been professionally trained by coaches in the Ballroom Community, relating to the DVIDA and Arthur Murray syllabi, to maximize my own dance ability, but the greatest training I received was learning how to TEACH others.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My private lessons start at $55 per lesson. I do offer discounts, depending on the package my students choose.

What types of students have you worked with?

I've worked with students as young as 5 years old and as mature as 80. I'm a true believer that ANYONE can learn how to dance.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

The most recent project I worked on was with a local Organization, Growing Empowered Together, on a routine, alongside John Robert Mack. I had the pleasure of working with people who had never danced before, and it was so exciting getting to see them come out of their shell!
