Missy H. says, "I like many things about Coach April. First of all April is very knowledgeable about the game of volleyball. I love the fact that she not only has played volleyball in college but she has been a college coach and she also officiates at the college level. When training a volleyball athlete, Coach April not only looks at where the athlete is now skill wise but she looks at the athletes potential and where the athlete could be. April uses coaching lessons not only for volleyball but for life as well. She trains the whole athlete-mentally, physically and emotionally. She tries to use mistakes or set backs as tools for life lessons because she feels that’s there more to the athlete than just volleyball; volleyball is just part of who the athlete is. However, when training, April wants the athlete to get the most out of the training with her and she is committed to seeing the athlete get better and succeed on and off the court
I would highly recommend Coach April if you are looking for a knowledgeable coach, a coach that will push your daughter to “put in the work”, a coach that is driven and focused, a coach that will help the athlete to see her strengths and weaknesses but will use the athletes weaknesses to help her get better and succeed on the court. Coach April loves to coach volleyball athletes, she loves imparting her wisdom upon them to make them successful! " Read more
