Soreal Dance Studio
About
I'm always involved in what my student wants to learn and what they plan on learning. I target not only their skill, but their passion and what they want to do in the long run.
I enjoy teaching new students, watching them grow skill-wise, and just that this is my passion. I love what I do.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Working with a beginner student is what I do on a daily basis. The steps that I take are very fun and easy to grasp and throughout the process, my students not only polish up on dancing itself, but they also learn the correct terminology used in all levels of dance classes/studios.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've worked for Soreal Dance Studio since 2011, been on tours with famous artist Bryson Tiller, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Jeremih, and August Alsina.
I have experience under the Houston Independent School District for 2 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The standard price for my private lessons is $75 per hour.
2 Private Lessons: $100
5 Private Lessons: $250
How did you get started teaching?
I started under the training of Houston's own, Andrew Baterina and worked my way up from that. I still train under him til' this day.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all kinds of students throughout my dance career.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Teaching at Pin Oak Middle School. Those kids changed my life in so many ways and it was always a blessing to see the smiles on their faces.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they understand what the student wants, then, later on, focus on what they need. You have to get your student involved and active before you hand them down the layout of how things work.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Honestly, I always feel that with dancing, there is always something to learn whether it's something you feel that you've mastered or you feel that you don't need. Never block out anything you learn because it does help in the long run.
