Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Talking to my students before the first lesson on what it takes to be a great tennis player.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended many teaching programs and I had great coaches while growing up that's why my students are amongst the best players in the country.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Well, the way I conduct my classes is different from other coaches. Most of my students are taking a 30 minutes of private lesson a week and another 10 minutes a week. That makes it 2 days a week but the kids can come everyday to work on their games with my balls and I will still be monitoring them without charging for it. It's $65 a week.
How did you get started teaching?
I love the game and want other people to learn it. It's a game of a lifetime.
What types of students have you worked with?
All type of students. From a 4 year old who want to have fun to someone that want to be a pro in the future. Also some adults. I have a 85 year old lady playing twice a week.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My students winning tournaments. We got the first place medals in every age level we played.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Just enjoy the game.Even if the student is playing for fun and exercise or planning to play middle school, high school, college or pro tennis. I always advise them to have fun first.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Every student should feel free to ask the coach any question. That will make the student listen and improve.
