Great tennis coach. Neil is a great tennis coach. My daughter never played tennis before her first lesson with Neil. Neil was very patient with her. After on lesson, she was able to hit the ball pretty well.

Great tutor. Thanks for your patience and instruction. My daughter learned a lot during the lesson. I know she will immediately be able to apply what she has learned. Neil kept the lesson light-hearted but focused and maximized the time.

Wonderful lesson! Skills, fun and encouragement all in one. Neil was great! I've had a difficult time finding a sport my son liked and we had tried Tennis once before but he didn't like the instruction. My son actually wanted to continue lessons after his first lesson with Neil!! Neil was so fun while doing drills and very encouraging. Great self-esteem booster for him. My son is almost 12.

Former professional player.  I've coached all levels of players from professionals to beginners for over 30 years, including two years coaching a nationally ranked College program.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Yes.  $60/hr for a private lesson - $50/hr for students.

With a 10% discount for a series of 6 lessons (when paid in advance).

How did you get started teaching?

I began teaching in Australia, early in my career, as a tennis (playing) professional.

What types of students have you worked with?

From professionals to beginners.  And children as young as four to adults in their sixties.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Pick a tennis tournament - any tournament.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Look for someone who has a passion for the game.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Have clearly defined goals that are realistic, and be wary of teachers who promise the moon.
