About
Playing drums over 30 years and teaching over 20 years, I've found that every student learns differently. Private lessons are perfect for this scenario. Some students learn visually, audibly, hands on and more. Creating my own books, I teach reading notes, coordination, grooves, solos and playing with music. You can learn drum parts to your favorite songs too.
Starting in concert band, I also took private drum lessons from 2 instructors. Jazz band, marching band and rock bands we're all part of my high school experience. Troopers drum corps 1996, and then M.I.(musicians institute) I graduated with high honors. Also learning from Ray Luzier the current Korn drummer.
Awards include 1 at state, 96/97 at P.A.S. , guitar center drum off, placing 1st in drumline and band through school, as well as teaching the S.F. drumline 4 years also scoring 1st every year.
I teach at Boothe music in S.F., my house in springville or online. 1st lesson is free.

I love drums! Seeing the progress in students makes me overjoyed. Knowing that another person has acquired a new skill is very satisfying. Having competitions and recitals keeps things exciting too.
