Established in 1999, The Shelley School of Irish Dance, based in Cedar Hills and Pleasant Grove, Utah, is the oldest and largest Irish Dance school in the state. The school, founded by Tina Shelley, the first certified teacher in Utah, offers a premier certified Irish dance program catering to beginners through to championship levels. The school provides opportunities for students aged 4 and up to participate in competitions, annual recitals, parades, and corporate events. Upper-level dancers can audition for the Shelley School of Irish Dance Company (SIDC), which performs at various venues and events.
