About
Hi, I'm Emily and I've been playing tennis for 9 years now and recieved lessons during high school. From time spent with a coach and from teaching friends I'd say I have a good understanding of giving clear direction. Let it be known that I am not a professional tennis instructor, but I can help you get started with the basics and good form.
For me, tennis has always been a blast and I love being able to share that with other people. It's a skill that you never lose, and if you can get started with it, you'll never have to say no to an invite to play.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If you are new to tennis we will begin by making sure you know the rules of the game, have correct grip on the raquet, and maybe start at the net, working on coordination with the raquet. After warming up, i'll then have us working on how to best do forhand (hitting from the right side of the court) and, when you're felling comfortable with that we can move on to backhand (hitting from the left side of the court).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
First lesson is $10/hr, and further lessons are each $15/hr
