As a Professional Choreographer, I have worked with many prominent dance companies throughout Utah such as, Ballet West, University of Utah, BDT, Utah Jazz Dancers, and Davis County Drill Teams. With my experience I have learned and loved many different styles of dance, all of which influence me in my style of Choreography. I also like to be influenced by the dancers and teams I choreograph for, prior to choreography. This allows me to get a good feel for their styles, interests, and extraordinary talents.I have learned that this personal choreography improves the level of dance choreo immensely, leading toAward-Winning Choreography.
I absolutely LOVE working with dancers, coaches, teachers, parents, and teams, to create the best dance routines and make technique and improving fun and unique. Dance is my passion and sharing this passion and expertise with others is what I love!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We help students, studios, and teams receive the choreography and technique they need to be elevated to the next level, again and again.
First, we discuss your needs and goals.
For choreography we then arrange the budget, song, and timeframe, and then move forward with teaching and instruction to ensure you feel comfortable and happy with the services received.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I was 12 years old, as I moved up quickly in my home studio. This taught me at a young age about working for what I want, reviewing the basics, and I learned that I LOVE teaching, coaching, and choreographing.
What types of students have you worked with?
As a Professional Choreographer, I have worked with many prominent dance companies throughout Utah such as, Ballet West, University of Utah, BDT, Utah Jazz Dancers, and High School Drill Teams.
I work with individual soloists competing dance routines and auditioning for dance teeams at all levels, from beginning to pro levels.
My favorite is working with Drill Teams and Studio Competition teams as a guest instructor and as a guest choreographer to help elevate their team to the next level again and again.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Drill Team and Studio Dance Competitions are my favories and I have a ton of connections for these events as well.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher you can connect to and relate to, that also has the expertise to push you as a dancer and student and take you to a whole new level. At the end of the day, you should feel excited, confident, and ready to work hard if you want to succeed.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about WHY you dance. If you don't have a strong WHY to doing what you are doing, you will never have the strength to continue to succeed. Knowing why you do what you do is the secret sauce to chasing your dreams and living the life you've always imagined!
