About
I have been teaching percussion since 2014. I have taught marching percussion (both drum line and front ensemble), concert percussion (mallets, snare, and timpani), drum set (rock, funk, metal, country, and CCM), and music theory/aural skills. I have a BM in Music, BS in Music Education, and a MM in Percussion, and I am currently working on my DMA in Percussion. I am a very patient and empathetic teacher: I place students first, and cater lessons to what students want to learn. Music is an incredibly personal pursuit, so learning happens best when students take ownership and help determine the course of their own instruction.
