Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually start off by asking questions to get an idea of the student's experience and how much development the students wants out of the lessons. It sometimes depends on their level but if they're a beginner I'll began showing them the technical fundamentals of tennis which would usually lead to drills and repetitions. If they've been playing for a while, I'll began hitting with them to see what areas they would need to work on more. This will then transition to drills which will also involve foot work and foot positions. With groups of people, I like to incorporate fun drills and games. Some students may require more hand eye coordination then others, and other students may require more footwork then others.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been trained by a lot of professional coaches in the past who have helped me become very proficient in playing the game. I've accomplish much through tournaments from my teenage years, and have assisted other tennis coaches by training upcoming students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing for 1 on 1 lessons is $50 hourly. For more than 1 person or group lessons is $35 per person.
Here is my current package for lessons
5 Lessons = $250 10% off is $225
10 Lessons = $500 13% off is $435
15 Lessons = $750 16% off = $630
20 Lessons = 1000 20% off is $800
How did you get started teaching?
I started training as an assisted coach with pro coaches out of Philadelphia Pa. These coaches trained me for tournaments growing up and I've been able to gain a lot of knowledge from including the correct forms and techniques of how to swing the racket to prevent injuries.
What types of students have you worked with?
I teach Beginners to Advanced and Kids to Adults.
